I am a freelance editor currently based in the UK with over 10 years experience in the industry, working in the UK and Japan.
Some of the brands I have worked with include BBC, 2Entertain, Radisson Edwardian, Raindance Film Festival, Mulholland Pictures, Ethical Hedonist Magazine, ELFS Japan.
I was previously Filmmaker in Residence at Raindance Film Festival in the UK and I also worked as an editing instructor on the Making the Short Film Masterclass in Tokyo.
I started out as an editor creating my own 8mm video shorts and chopping the results together with a VCR. From there I’ve seen editing technology develop in leaps and bounds but I have never forgotten the discipline and creativity that those early days taught me. These days I work with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve. I always aim to stay abreast of the latest technological developments and am excited to see where things go from here.
